GhanaWeb reports that there was a social media video that went viral showing people showing off a number of burned GH¢100 and GH¢200 notes.
A voiceover in the video posted on X on November 23, 2024, stated that the incident took place on November 21.
The individual who took the video was also heard begging the nation’s two main political parties to assist the victim, a store owner.
According to reports, the casualty of the building fire was a young guy in his thirties.
